Lucy King Mulled Wine Candle

The use of candles at Christmas dates back to medieval times, when they were lit to ward off the darkness and cold of winter, representing the coming of brighter days. Candles aren't quite so necessary in the southern hemisphere, but their flickering light and scents still adds a welcome sense of magic to our homes over Christmas. 

These stunning candles are made by Lucy King - a boutique candle-maker based in Arrowtown, New Zealand. They use 100% natural, sustainably sourced soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oils and essential oils. Inspired by Christmas time in the Northern Hemisphere and the mulled wine syrup from Mt Rosa wines, this fruity and spicy candle will fill your home with the scent of a Christmas market, without the accompanying chilly toes.
